Just a quick public service announcement/priority alert for waffle aficionados: the Waffle Mania truck has long been a familiar face at various farmers' markets around town, including the Wednesday Civic Center version, but for the last few weeks, the truck has (quietly) begun making a new San Francisco appearance, specifically on Tehama between First and Second Streets.
As of now, the plan is to appear in the alley on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon, but be warned—it's getting more popular and the waffles go very quickly.
