It's been more than six months since Copenhagen's NOMA landed at the top of S.Pellegrino's list of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, and the fascination with the Nordic restaurant—and its handsome young chef Rene Redzepi—continues to snowball. According to a recent tweet, Food & Wine's Kate Krader is eating at the restaurant right about now. The Washington Post just named coffee table-worthy NOMA: Time and Place in Nordic Cuisine, which dropped in October, one of the top ten cookbooks of 2010 (just in time for gifting season), and anyone curious about the future of food wants to eat his work.
Yet, when we met the chef at All-Clad's 50th Anniverary this fall, Redzepi revealed he's not after any awards. He'd rather have more babies, longer sleep and the last bit of dessert. Hit play to find out what else makes the culinary celebrity tick. [The Feast]
Sin City is The Feast's signature interview series, wherein we get to know the city's characters in a biblical sense, by asking them seven very serious questions.
