New In-N-Out Burger Opens in Pleasant Hill

New In-N-Out Burger Opens in Pleasant Hill

The newest In-N-Out Burger opened Thursday in Pleasant Hill.

And not without controversy.

Critics told the Contra Costa Times that the In-N-Out restaurant, and more specifically, a proposed second restaurant, would bring long line of cars, noise and rowdy crowds to their neighborhood. But, supporters say the burger restaurant will be good business for their city.

In-N-Out Burger will be open 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday; and until 1:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. The restaurant seats 98 and includes a drive-thru lane for diners on the go. The Pleasant Hill In-N-Out employs about 50 "burger associates" earning a starting wage of $10.50 per hour.

This Pleasant Hill restaurant is the first In-N-Out in central Contra Costa County.
