Woz Thinks He Can Dance

Apple co-founder joins Dancing with the Stars

Not only can he invent computers but Steve Wozniak thinks he can dance too.

The Apple co-founder and South Bay resident will join ABC's strange hit "Dancing with the Stars."

This is not the 59-year-old techies first brush with Hollywood. He was dating comedian Kathy Griffin and together the two attended the 2007 Emmy Awards. But the two split after Wozniak found someone more "appropriate" but the two remain friends.

“He met someone very quickly and then they [got] engaged," Griffin said. "I have had dinner with them, and she’s a thousand times more appropriate! I hate to say it, but in the Bruce, Demi, Ashton [scheme of things], I’m the Bruce!”

He also acted in a TV show called "Code Monkeys," where he played a parody of himself. His character was the owner of a store called Gameavision before selling it to help fund Apple.

The Woz will be joined by singer Belinda Carlisle, comedian David Alan Grieg, singer Jewel, gymnast Shawn Johnson, rapper Lil' Kim, actor Gilles Marini, athlete Ty Murray, Jackass alum Steve-O, Access Hollywood anchor Nancy O'Dell, actress Denise Richards, retired NFL linebacker Lawrence Taylor and country singer Chuck Wicks.
