Northern California authorities have found rain gear they believe belongs to the suspect who fatally set a gas station attendant on fire.
The Record Searchlight newspaper reports Friday that Shasta County sheriff's deputies found the yellow rain suit stashed in a trash can on Thursday.
David Wicks was burned alive at a Shell station Wednesday evening by an assailant seen on security video entering the business near Burney, a logging community at the northern end of the state.
The 54-year-old attendant was described as someone who always had a smile on his face.
Secret Witness of Shasta County posted a $10,000 reward seeking tips that lead to an arrest and conviction. Friends have set up a GoFundMe account for the family.
Authorities also found a bike outside the gas station.
