Police are looking for a man who exposed himself to a woman at a San Diego-area playground, standing "naked and erect" just inches from her face.

The woman was sitting on a set of steps at a playground near Desert Hare Court in the Otay Ranch neighborhood of Chula Vista around 9:30 p.m. on May 14 when she said she “felt a presence."

When she looked up from her phone, she said she saw a naked, erect man in front of her standing just a few inches from her face.

She ran away and contacted a boyfriend. Together, they called 911.

Chula Vista Lt. Fritz Reber said investigators believe the incident is related to three others reported recently.

Cheryl Kivlenhan was concerned about the idea about a man walking around flashing strangers so close to her home.

"It's not good for the family environment. It's not going to be a safe area," Kivlenhan said. "I moved here for the safety and now I feel, is it safe enough for my children?"

Investigators describe the suspect as a 19 to 20-year-old man, thin build, about 5’2” to 5’4” tall and clean shaven.

The playground is located east of the Otay Ranch Shopping Center just a block from the Winding Walk Homeowners Association Clubhouse and within a mile of Camarena Elementary School and Concordia Church and School.
