Hundreds of thousands of fans are expected to head to San Diego this weekend for Comic-Con International 2015.
Some 130,000 fans of comic books and pop culture headed to the annual convention, ready to don costumes of their favorite superhero or comic book character.
Exhibits include comic books, conferences, film screenings, and educational workshops, along with a variety of special guests ranging from fantasy authors to television producers.
The international convention runs through July 12 at the San Diego Convention Center.
