It might be getting older, but it certainly isn't losing any of its magic.
Disneyland Resort celebrated its 61st birthday on Sunday with some extra special treats for park patrons.
The Disneyland Band marched its way down Main Street, U.S.A. and guests sang "Happy Birthday" before 100 doves were sent flapping into the air, according to Disneyland officials.
Sunday's milestone comes at the tail end of Disneyland's "Diamond Celebration," a year-long jubilee that has made the park sparkle just a bit brighter with anniversary decor and entertainment, Disneyland officials said.
The "Diamond Celebration" will end on Sept. 5, according to Disneyland officials.
