Orange County Church Vandalized With Nazi Symbols

Swastikas were painted on some of the outside walls of the church.

Police are investigating a vandalism case as a possible hate crime after an Orange County church's walls were defaced with Nazi symbols.

Walls outside True Light Christian Church in Buena Park were found spray painted with red swastikas and German words Saturday morning, according to the Buena Park Police Department.

Police do not know why the church was targeted, but believe "the nature of the vandalism and the proximity to the church" might make the case a hate crime.

"We're investigating all possible aspects of the case," Sgt. Mike Lovchik said.

There are no known suspects and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
