There is no reason to avoid these businesses now as it is no longer possible to be exposed. All employees at the  sites have been screened, with those at risk of coming down with measles excluded from work.

If you are up to date on your immunizations and have visited one of these locations, you also are not at risk for exposure to measles.

It has also been reported that Disneyland, the initial source of the outbreak, has asked California health officials to reassure the public the amusement park is safe to attend.

A spokesperson for Disneyland told the Associated Press the park contacted health officials to, "ensure that factual and accurate information flowed both ways to avoid confusion and properly inform the public."
