Two Shot, Injured at Fresno 49ers-Seahawks Football Party

Police said a 49ers fan was taunted by Seahawks fans.

Police said two men were injured in a shooting at a house party in Fresno after a San Francisco 49ers fan was taunted by fans of the Seattle Seahawks.

The Fresno Bee reports that two men, ages 63 and 45, received non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting during the Seahawks victory in the NFC championship game on Sunday.

Fresno County sheriff's Sgt. Kevin Lolkus says 39-year-old Amado Vargas was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Lolkus said Vargas first threatened people with a knife, which was wrestled away from him.

Police said Vargas then ran into a room with a gun safe, took out a handgun and fired multiple shots.

The 49ers lost to the Seahawks 23-17.
