Angel Leonel Alonzo, 22, of Los Angeles, was arrested Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, by the Irvine Police Department after he was accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old he met online.

A 22-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested Friday and charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old Irvine girl he met online, who police believe videotaped at least one of the assaults.

He is also charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of child pornography.

He could face 11 1/2 years in prison if convicted.

Alonzo is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana. He was being held on $100,000 bail.
