Tree Huggers to Descend on San Francisco

There's a tree tour coming up! SF Environment and Friends of the Urban Forest will lead a tour visiting "the best trees in the city" -- but as far as we're concerned they're ALL the best.

A bio diesel bus will ferry the tour across town to see landmark trees. (We wonder if they'll get to see the mysterious manzanita!)

The tour happens Saturday, Aug. 22, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., starting at the eucalyptus on the corner of 1801 Bush St. You know the one.

And if you can't make it to the tour, DON'T WORRY. Check out the map of landmark trees and tour on your own time.

Or if you're even more ambitious, go on a tour of significant palm trees, brought to us by celebrity palm cultivator Jason Dewees.
