Crews Contain 95 Percent of 8,051-Acre Wragg Fire Near Lake Berryessa, Aim at 100 Percent by Monday

Crews have the 8,051-acre Wragg fire, in Napa and Solano counties near Lake Berryessa, 95 percent contained as of Saturday evening.

Officials hope to have the fire fully contained by Monday, according to Cal Fire.

The Wragg fire was originally reported July 22 in the 7700 block of state Highway 128 at Wragg Canyon Road.

Firefighters have stopped the fire's forward progress, and are now focusing on mop up and tactical patrol operations in an effort to reach full containment, according to a statement by Cal Fire.

There are no evacuations in place and all roads are currently open to normal traffic, but a campground near Lake Solano has been closed to accommodate fire equipment.

There are currently 136 structures threatened. Two outbuildings have been destroyed and four more have been damaged. One residence has also been damaged. 

There are currently 1,279 firefighters on the scene with 4 helicopters, 75 fire engines and 13 water tenders, according to Cal Fire. No injuries have been reported so far.
