1 Dead, 3 Injured in Oakland Morning Shooting

One man died at the scene, while the three others were taken to a local hospital after the shooting on 28th Avenue in Oakland.

One man is dead and three others are hospitalized after a shooting early Saturday in the Oakland's Fruitvale neighborhood, according to police.

The Oakland Tribune reported when officers were called to the 1600 block of 28th Avenue around 3:50 a.m. they found the four men suffering from gunshot wounds.

One man died at the scene, while the three others were taken to a local hospital. Police say one of the surviving victims underwent emergency surgery and describe him as critically wounded.

The two other victims are in stable condition.

Police have not released any suspect information and have not determined a motive for the shooting

Meanwhile, up to $25,000 in reward money is being offered by police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland for information leading to the arrest of the killer, or killers.
