A car was destroyed and another significantly damaged when a fire broke out in a San Jose apartment complex's parking lot early Tuesday morning, fire officials said.
According to the city's fire department, the blaze was reported at 3:13 a.m. The vehicles were parked at the Monterey apartment complex at 3510 Moorpark Ave., officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, officials added.
No other details were immediately available.
