An 11-year-old suffered a head injury after a vehicle struck him as he was crossing the street Wednesday morning in San Francisco's Financial District.
The collision occurred near the corner of Sutter and Montgomery streets around 8:10 a.m., police said.
The boy was crossing the street with his mother mid-block when a vehicle struck him. He was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, according to police.
The driver, a 24-year-old man, remained at the scene, police said.
