2 Arrested in Sacramento After Video of Crimes Posted on Social Media

Authorities in Sacramento, California, say two men were arrested after sharing video of their crimes online.

The Sacramento Bee reports last week that 28-year-old Damon Batson and 25-year-old Carlos Gonzalez were arrested for drug and weapons charges.

In the video, police say, Gonzalez appears to recklessly fire the gun while riding in the front seat of a moving vehicle.

Police said the video appears to show Batson driving the car when the gun was fired.

No one was injured. Police later recovered the gun.

Gonzalez was booked on weapons charges. Batson was booked on drug and weapons charges.

Neither was available for comment Monday. It was not known if either has been assigned or hired an attorney.
