    Two people died late Wednesday in a vehicle crash in San Jose.

    Two people died in a vehicle collision late Wednesday in San Jose, police said.

    The single-vehicle accident occurred at 9:47 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Capitol Avenue and involved an old-model Lexus. Witnesses said the vehicle appeared to have flipped over, landing on VTA train tracks in the area.

    VTA said no trains were involved in the collision. VTA late Wednesday set up a bus bridge between Berryessa and Hostetter to bypass crash scene.

    Five people were involved in the accident, with two confirmed dead, police said.

    The two people killed in the crash were identified as San Jose residents Reginald Louis Sterling, 27, and Sean Allen Johnson, 24.

    The driver, identified as 23-year-old Christian Clennan of San Jose, was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail for two counts of vehicular manslaughter and drunk driving, police said.
