Two people were found dead in a Milpitas park Friday afternoon, according to police.
Police were called to Hidden Lake Park in the 800 block of North Milpitas Boulevard just after 1 p.m. today, according to Commander Armando Corpuz.
Callers reported an incident in progress in the levee area just west of the park.
Officers searched the area and found two bodies, Corpuz said.
Police are releasing minimal information on the victims, who are thought to both be Milpitas resident, and withholding their cause of death until an investigation can be completed, Corpuz said.
"We will say that there is no risk to the public and there are no outstanding suspects," Corpuz said.
