2 San Jose Men Buried in Indianapolis Grave

Police said Friday that dental records were used to identify the bodies as 39-year-old Juan Valencia and 40-year-old Raul Villalobos.

Police in Indianapolis said Friday that two men reported missing this summer from San Jose were found buried in a shallow grave two weeks ago.

Indianapolis homicide detectives used dental records to identify the men as 39-year-old Juan Valencia and 40-year-old Raul Villalobos.

Valencia was reported missing on Aug. 24, and Villalobos was reported missing July 6, San Jose police said, who referred all other questions to Indianapolis police.

The remains were found Aug. 22 by people searching for a dog in a wooded area amid a mix of homes and industrial buildings on the city's east side.

Police have said at least one of the bodies had head injuries. A man who found the remains told WTHR-TV that he and his cousin also found several hundred dollars near the grave.
No arrests have been reported.
