A man and a woman are dead after a shooting Monday morning outside the Crunch Fitness gym at 1630 Range Ave. in the Coddingtown Mall in Santa Rosa, police said.
The shooting occurred about 8:30 a.m. in the Coddingtown Mall parking lot, police said.
When officers arrived, they found a woman in her car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was rushed to a hospital, where she later died, police said.
Two blocks away, officers found a man inside a car who was dead from a gunshot wound. Police believe the man shot the woman and them turned the gun on himself.
Lt. John Cregan said there are no outstanding suspects or threats to the public.
