2 Dogs Rescued From Korean Meat Farm Find Homes, 4 More Up for Adoption

The San Francisco SPCA has found homes for two of the 57 dogs and puppies rescued from a Korean meat farm two weeks ago. Molly and Masha were adopted on March 27. The SPCA is now looking for homes for four more dogs: Calvin, Nutmeg, Daisy, and Abby.

Molly is a 3-month old female, Korean Jindo mix who headed home with a couple to live just outside of Pescadero. Molly's new owners had their hearts set on giving one of the Korean meat farm puppies a new lease on life. They arrived at the SPCA four hours before it opened to be first in line for Molly.

Masha is a 3-year old female Shiba Inu mix who is a little shy at first, very active and “ready to start her new life in America,”  with her new loving family, the SPCA said.

All of these dogs came to the United States on Mar. 19 from what SPCA described as “horrific conditions and certain death” at a meat farm outside of Seoul.

The SPCA along with shelters in Marin, the East Bay, and Sacramento have partnered with Humane Society International to care for these dogs and give them new lives.

Some of these pups still need medical attention and are not ready for their forever homes yet.
