2 Men Shot in San Francisco Mission District: Police

Police are investigating a shooting in San Francisco's Mission District that left two men suffering from life-threatening injuries.

The shooting was reported at 10:15 p.m. Monday in the area of 24th and Mission streets.

Officers responding to the scene found a crime scene at 24th and Bartlett streets. Two victims apparently ran from the scene and were found, police said.

One of the victims was located at 24th and Mission streets and the other victim was found at 24th Street and South Van Ness Avenue.

Police describe both victims as being in their 20s. Both men were transported to the hospital.

Preliminary information indicates the suspect(s) were in a vehicle.

Police late Monday did not have a suspect description and said no arrests have been made.
