The Santa Clara County medical examiner's office has identified a 22-year-old Campbell woman who died in a crash on U.S. Highway 101 in Santa Clara this morning.
Rachel Bierach died after a two-vehicle collision, which was reported at about 1:25 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 just south of San Tomas Expressway, CHP Officer Aaron Quistad said.
The vehicle Bierach was driving collided with a large truck, the CHP reported.
The far right lane of the highway was blocked for about three hours while authorities investigated the crash and cleaned up debris, Quistad said
