Three unrelated suspects now face arson charges for fires set in and around the South of Market area recently, according to the San Francisco district attorney's office.
Police arrested Anthony Bejarano, 47, on Wednesday after releasing photos and a video of a man they suspected of setting a series of fires at construction sites, unoccupied buildings and garbage receptacles.
Bejarano, a San Francisco resident, now faces charges of residential burglary, arson of an inhabited dwelling and possession or manufacture of combustible materials in connection with one arson incident.
He allegedly broke into the garage of the One Rincon Hill condo building and set a luxury car on fire last week, according to Officer Gordon Shyy, spokesman for the San Francisco Police Department.
Bejarano is being held in custody on $650,000 bail and was scheduled to appear in court this afternoon, according to Alex Bastian, spokesman for the district attorney's office.
On Monday, police also arrested Lindell Smith, 57, of San Francisco, at 12:50 p.m. for allegedly igniting a trash can that day on Cyril Magnin Street and Eddy Street, Shyy said.

And on Wednesday at 11 a.m., police arrested Janoah Jonesdunn, 40, for allegedly setting fire to a trash can the same at Fourth Street and Market Street.
The district attorney's office does not believe the suspects or the separate incidents are related to each other.
Jonesdunn and Smith both face charges of arson.
