3.7 Quake Followed by 2.7 Aftershock in Crockett

A magnitude 3.6 earthquake that struck around 11:56 a.m. near the Contra Costa County town of Crockett was followed by a 2.7 aftershock five minutes later, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The shocks were centered about 1 mile north of Crockett at a depth of around 6 miles.
