“94110” TV Pilot About SF's Mission District Seeks Actors, Some Wonder If It's A Prank

Flyers calling for actors for a television pilot called "94110" have been posted in the Mission District.

According to SFist, there is a casting call for six lead actors plus supporting roles and extras who can shoot on May 16-17.

"94110 imagines the story of six leading technology executives living, learning, and loving together in San Francisco’s Mission District, 94110," reads the description.

The call is open to both union and non-union actors and there is an undisclosed payment for those who make it to shoot the final production this summer.

"I hope they don't film in the neighborhood, because Valencia Street sidewalks are busy enough with all the baby stroller traffic," writer and 94110 resident Camper English told NBC Bay Area.

But "94110" may not actually be a legitimate project. Uptown Almanac, which spotted the flyers, reported talking to someone purporting to be a producer of the show. They asked for anonymity and called the show "Mark Zuckerberg fan fiction."

A call from NBC Bay Area made to the number on the flyer has yet to be returned.
