Added Hours to VTA Bus Line Between Cupertino, SJ Starts Monday

Starting Monday, added hours on a Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority bus line will allow passengers to travel more frequently between De Anza College in Cupertino and downtown San Jose seven days a week.

The VTA's Limited Stop Line 323 will increase weekday evening service to every 30 minutes until 10:30 p.m.

Saturday service will start at 8 a.m., an hour earlier from its current schedule, and run every 30 minutes until 9 a.m., VTA officials said.

Buses will operate every 30 minutes on Saturday evenings until 10 p.m., according to the VTA.

Another new addition to the line is Sunday service in which buses are scheduled to run every 20 minutes from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Two new stops will be added in downtown San Jose. One will be at Julian at North First streets in the eastbound direction and the other at North Second at Bassett streets in the westbound direction, VTA officials said.

The line travels through Cupertino, Santa Clara and San Jose with other stops by the Santana Row outdoor shopping mall, Westfield Valley Fair mall and San Jose McEnery Convention Center.
