San Francisco Police Seek Public's Help Solving 2007 SoMa Murder

Police are asking for the public’s help solving a seven-year-old murder that happened in San Francisco's SoMa neighborhood.

Twenty-year-old Alberto Casillas was killed seven years ago – Jan. 7, 2007 – just before 2:30 a.m. as he drove near Folsom and 13th streets.

Casillas had been confronted hours earlier by two suspects at Club Caliente, a nearby nightclub that has since been shut down.

Investigators received good descriptions of the suspects. Keep in mind, the above pictures are about seven years old.

Investigators say both men have dark complexions and were between 18-25 at the time of the shooting.

Police are offering a $250,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the murder.
