It's working (to an extent) for Microsoft.
Will Amazon be next to open an actual physical, brick and mortar store?
Reports from New York are hot and heavy with news that Amazon will open a physical store, the first showroom coming to Manhattan.
Even though Amazon is famous for letting us shop online, as Amazon gets more into consumer products (Kindles, phones, etc), it may want to give us consumers a way to touch the products before we buy them.
And, let's not forget that you can touch and buy more than just Apple products inside Apple stores.
People scoffed when Apple announced plans to open physical stores of their own, but that turned out pretty well. Perhaps Amazon is next.
