An Amber Alert was issued Friday for a missing 5-month-old boy out of the Central Valley, the California Highway Patrol said.
The alert was in effect for Fresno, Madeira, Tulare and Kings counties.
The boy was later found safe and the alert was deactivated, police said.
No other information was immediately available.
