The SPCA for Monterey County has named the animal Horton and say he was pushed out of a newer model, white Kia sedan near 3rd Street and Apple Avenue in Greenfield around 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Witnesses said that the suspect is a Caucasian man, between 45 and 50 years old, with a shaved or bald head.

According to the SPCA's Facebook page, Horton is suffering from an untreated skin condition and severe dental disease, and needs medical attention.

A $1,500 reward is up for grabs in exchange for information on the suspect.
