Anthony Bourdain in SF Filming New Show

San Francisco will be featured on "The Layover."

Famed foodie Anthony Bourdain is in San Francisco this week filming for a new show.

"The Layover" will premiere on the Travel Channel on Nov. 21 according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Bourdain had this to say about the show on his blog, "... unlike No Rez (No Reservations), you will actually be able to do the stuff covered on the show. And unlike other shows of the genre, you might actually want to... It's faster, more democratic and more caffeinated than No Rez. But just as obnoxious."

"The Layover" follows Bourdain as he spends 24-48 hours in an unexpected destination, exploring, meeting people and of course, eating the food.

Bourdain is updating his Twitter during the shoot, mentioning stops at Li Po, the Comstock, Mr. Bings, Sam's Burgers and Chaac Mool to name a few.
