Police said they are still seeking information about a shooting outside a shopping center that left one man dead this morning.
Antioch police responded to a report of a shooting at 11:30 a.m. outside a 24 Hour Fitness, located at 2632 Somersville Road inside the Somersville Towne Center, police said.
Officers found a 33-year-old Pittsburg resident incapacitated with apparent gunshot wounds, police said. First responders tried to revive him, but police said he was declared dead at the scene.
The Antioch Police Department Investigations Bureau is investigating, and police said no further information would be released at this time.
