The Oakland Raiders were allowed to open the team's Alameda facilities Tuesday for players but one star who may not be there is All-Pro defensive back Nnamdi Asomugha.
If you believe what ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports -- and the Raiders have a long history of not believing any ink that dries from his pen -- Asomugha is busy looking at real estate in New York.
The veteran NFL writer tweeted that the highly-coveted Raiders' free agent is willing to take a pay cut to sign with a playoff contender.
"...word is Nnamdi might take (l)ittle less money to go to a team like Jets...start his Broadway acting lessons for post-career," he tweeted around 10:15 a.m. Tuesday.
The irony is the Raiders were not too far off from being a playoff contender last season and many expect the team to be on an upward trajectory.
Last season the Raiders finished 8-8, the team's first 500 record since 2002, while knocking off several of its division rivals.
