Caught on Camera: Mystery Lotto Winner

If no one claims the $465,593 by 5 p.m. Nov. 18, the entire loot will be transferred to Los Angeles public schools.

A very lucky Lotto player is running out of time to claim his Powerball prize worth nearly half a million dollars.

The California Lottery released surveillance photos of the winner buying his Powerball ticket at Whitley Heights Market, located at 1900 North Highland Ave. in Los Angeles.

The market is just off Highway 101 in LA, so it could've been a pit stop for someone driving through the area.

Its also conceivable the buyre was in the area on vacation because the market is also about three blocks from the famous Hollywood Boulevard.

The winning ticket matched five of six numbers – 31, 35, 41, 9, 57 – but missed the Powerball number of 26, to win a whopping $465,539. The numbers were drawn on May 22.

Last month, Lotto officials called on the same winner to claim his prize. They’re hoping, this time, surveillance photos of his fateful purchase will connect them with the winner.

If no one claims the $465,593 by 5 p.m. Nov. 18, the entire loot will be transferred to Los Angeles public schools.

If you’re the lucky winner, you’re told to sign your ticket, keep it in a safe place and visit your local Lottery District Office (details) as soon as possible.
