Baby Beavers Rescued From Texas Floods

People in East Texas weren't the only ones whose homes were washed away in the recent heavy rains.

Some animals lost their homes, too.

Three one-week-old baby beavers were rescued from the floods by the Animal Rehabilitation Center in Flint.

Volunteers say they were only about two days old when they were found and still had their umbilical cords.

The three beaver "kits", which is what baby beavers are called, have been named Chainsaw, Buzz and Chopper.

Volunteers said they'll stay at the wildlife center for about two years before they can be released into the wild.
