Baby Born at Pittsburg/Bay Point BART “Healthy”

A baby girl was born in a BART station parking lot on Monday morning.

An Antioch couple were on their way to the hospital to deliver a child, but pulled over to deliver the child in the parking lot of the Pittsburgh/Bay Point BART station early Monday morning, according to reports.
 
Jasmine Osborne of Antioch and Donyell McCullough saw De'Aurie emerge, according to the Contra Costa Times.
 
McCullough was driving Osborne to Alta Bates Hospital when the baby was born in the van.
 
De'Aurie weighed in at 7 pounds, 9 ounces. She's currently at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Antioch, but could be released home as soon as Tuesday, the newspaper reported.
