Bacon Festival of America returns to San Jose on Labor Day Weekend.

San Jose's third annual Bacon Festival of America is scheduled to take over Plaza de Cesar Chavez on Labor Day Weekend (Sept. 5-6).

Organizer Moveable Feast expects to attract 15,000 people for two days of food trucks, craft beer, music and pro wrestling matches.

Eaters will be able to get bacon in purist form as well as in wild experiments like bacon s'mores.

Tickets are $10 for one day or $15 for both. Kids under 11 are free.

Do note that the event starts at noon each day and early attendance is highly suggested to avoid the potential disappointment experienced last year, when vendors ran out of bacon early.
