A burglary suspect has been arrested after being barricaded in South San Jose Monday afternoon, prompting the brief evacuation of some nearby residents, a police spokeswoman said.
The suspect was arrested shortly after 1 p.m. at a mobile home park near Senter Road and Balfour Drive, not far from the Los Lagos Golf Course, police spokeswoman Sgt. Heather Randol reported on Twitter.
Police reported the suspect was barricaded there and that people were being evacuated at about 12:15 p.m.
