Bay Area Black Friday Guide

Whether they’re opening on Thanksgiving or waiting until the clock hits midnight, Bay Area stores are offering ads full of pages with discounts.

    Shoppers eager to score a deal started lining up days before Black Friday deals went into effect. From electronics and kitchen goods, to clothes and appliances, shoppers are taking advantage of the sales, despite the lines.

    This year many stores aren’t waiting for Black Friday and are instead opening on Thanksgiving, including Target, Walmart, Toys R Us and Kmart.

    Here are some Bay Area stores and their Black Friday ads:

    Ace Hardware - Friday at 8 a.m.

    Best Buy - Thursday at midnight

    Burlington Coat Factory - Friday at 6 a.m.

    Fry's Electronics - Thursday at midnight

    Home Depot - Friday at 5 a.m.

    Gilroy Premium Outlets- Thursday 9 p.m. (most stores)

    Great Mall in Milpitas- Friday at 10 p.m.

    JCPenney - Friday at 6 a.m.

    Kmart - Thursday at 8 p.m. 

    Kohl's- Thursday at midnight

    Livermore Outlets- Thursday at 10 p.m.

    Lowes - Friday at 6 a.m.

    Macy's - Thursday at midnight

    Michaels - Thursday at 4 p.m.

    Office Depot - Friday at 5 a.m.

    Office Max - Friday at 6 a.m.

    Old Navy - Thursday at midnight
