A Bay Area hospital is offering you a discount, if you pay your bill on time.
Marin General Hospital says patients with health insurance who pay on time will get a 25 percent discount according to the Marin Independent Journal.
The discount is available when the patient pays their insurance deductible right after treatment or when they pay before they are discharged from the hospital.
Patients who do not have insurance get an automatic 40% discount and another 10% off if they pay the bill quickly.
Similar programs are being offered at a few other health centers in the Bay Area.
