    Bay Area Steps Up to Help Victims of Destructive Carr Fire

    People across the Bay Area are teaming up to help the victims of the destructive Carr Fire in Shasta County that has claimed the lives of six people and destroyed hundreds of homes. Donation drives are underway in San Jose, Livermore and Pleasanton to collect the items most needed by those who lost everything. Marianne Favro reports. (Published Sunday, July 29, 2018)

    People across the Bay Area are teaming up to help the victims of the destructive Carr Fire in Shasta County that has claimed the lives of six people and destroyed hundreds of homes.

    Donation drives are underway in San Jose, Livermore and Pleasanton to collect the items most needed by those who lost everything.

    The drives are taking place at the following locations:

    • San Jose: Monday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., 910 Bern Court
    • Livermore: Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Main Street Designs, 2196 First St.
    • Pleasanton: Tuesday, 2-7 p.m., 7506 Rosedale Ct.
