A 23-year-old Benicia High School teacher was arrested Monday on suspicion of having sex and oral copulation with a minor, police said.
Riana Lane turned herself in to the Benicia Police Department on Monday. Her arrest follows a previous arrest earlier this month for alleged marijuana possession on campus and stolen property.
Detectives investigating the initial arrest later discovered Lane was having an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old student.
Lane in her first arrest was cited and released on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of stolen property and possession of marijuana on a school campus.
