Bicyclist Trapped Under Sweet Sweeper in SF

A man riding a bicycle collided with a street sweeper vehicle in  San Francisco's South of Market district early Thursday morning, according to  police.

The bicyclist and street sweeper vehicle collided near the  intersection of Sixth and Brannan streets at about 12:30 a.m., according to  police.

During the collision, the cyclist became trapped underneath the  street sweeper and fire rescueo  police.

The cyclist was transported to San Francisco General Hospital by  ambulance and sustained injuries not considered to be life threatening,  police said.
