A big-rig fire Thursday evening closed all westbound lanes of Interstate 580 near the junction with Interstate 680 in Dublin, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Dublin area CHP officers reported lanes blocked by a crash involving a big-rig that caught fire on social media at 6:39 p.m.

As of 7:16 p.m., emergency crews were still working to put out the fire and open up lanes of traffic, the CHP said.

Lanes reopened at 4:51 a.m. on Friday.
