Black Friday Campout Underway Early at South Bay Best Buy

Two bargain hunters pitched their tent outside a Best Buy in San Jose days early.

The Black Friday campout is underway right now in the South Bay with two bargain hunters pitching their tent outside a Best Buy in San Jose to be first in line for sales on Thursday night.

They claimed their first spot in line at the Curtner Avenue Best Buy with camping chairs and cereal.

Of course, they are doing it for the so-called door buster deals on cheap flat-screens televisions and computers.

They also admit they enjoy having the bragging rights, and they are doing it for all the right reasons--giving.

"Iā€™m doing it for my sister and my dad, to get to some gifts." camper Ryan Miranda said.

The campers also said they made sure they were prepared to last the few days until the doors open on Thanksgiving night.

"I never came out this early," Ainslee Hampel said. "You need to pack a tent. I have a heater. I bring a ton of blankets."

Some Best Buy shoppers are supporting the campout by giving them snacks.
