    A bomb threat prompted the San Francisco Police Department to evacuate a school in San Francisco Tuesday morning, according to police. Pete Suratos reports.

    A bomb threat prompted the San Francisco Police Department to evacuate a school in San Francisco Tuesday morning, according to police.

    The school, which is located at 50 Fell. St, is LePort Montessori, and will remain closed for the remainder of the day, police said.

    SFPD received a call at 9 a.m. about the threat which was left on an answering machine. Police aren't sure what time the message was left. The school was evacuated and the students sent home.

    Police declared the campus safe but are continuing to investigate.
