Bomb Threat Delays Denver Flight to SFO

Passengers and their luggage were boarded on another plane after threat.

A plane bound from Denver International Airport to San Francisco has been evacuated after federal officials were notified of a bomb threat to a United Airlines plane.

Carrie Harmon of the Transportation Security Administration says someone phoned in a bomb threat at about 7:30 a.m. on Thursday against United Flight 869.

The flight was expected to land in San Francisco around 11:15 a.m. on Thursday.

She said passengers, cargo and baggage were removed for re-screening. There were reports that nothing was found on the plane after it was screened.

The TSA says after the plane was evacuated, it was removed to a remote location at the airport where it is being searched.

The TSA said the passengers were boarded on another plane for the flight to San Francisco.
